Pictorial: Meet The UCU’s Stunning Miss Uganda Contestant, Vivian Boonabana

The Miss Uganda Franchise is the largest beauty pageant in the countrysaw a tremendous success last year with its winner Oliver Nakakande emerging as the queen bee from the Miss Uganda hive. She represented Uganda at miss international beauty pageant where she won the prestigious crown for Uganda.

Well this year the franchise is back at it again and the biggest search for the finest girls in the country is on in high gear. As campasstv, we were able to notice that some of the contestants this year are still in campus.

Vivian is one of them. She is contestant number 4 running for Miss Uganda 2023/24. Vivian is a graduate at Uganda Christian University where pursued bachelor’s degre in social work and social administration. Vivian, a 22 year old from homia district, is found of travelling, doing charity, adventure, listening to audio books, photography and videography

“My journey began first as a fantasy when l was still a young child, l grew in confidence and contested for miss University and now here lam in the miss Uganda pageant”, said vivian

Since a young kid, l was exposed to pageants by my grandmother and got so interested in knowing more about what the winners do for their societies. The desire to be a transformative leader in my society inspired me to join the National pageantry, she added.

Aside from her daily work, she also does video clip interviews on YouTube where she has passion for journalism. She is clearly not just beauty but beauty with a purpose something that the Miss Uganda foundation represents.

There has been a lot of controversy about her looking like a Rwandan but she is purley Ugandan and not mixed blood. She is ready to give in her all in the contest this year and probably do even better than whom she found in the miss Uganda frontline chapter
