Magololo Moryn has heightened her political ambitions by declaring her intention to contest in the Law Development Centre (LDC) Guild Presidential race scheduled for the next month.

The former Uganda Christian University student announced that she would compete for this highly rated political office through a social media post made yesterday morning. She encouraged lawyers to vote for her so as to restore the reputation of LDC.
“Gallant lawyers, the time is now. Let us make the law indeed the law at LDC. Aluta Continua,” Moryn posted through her WhatsApp status

The law advocate also received encouragement from Uganda Christian University and some of her counterparts from LDC to go on and contest in this race. Most of them described Moryn as a leader and change factor who could transfer her transformational leadership she exhibited at Uganda Christian University to LDC Kampala Campus

Upon leaving Uganda Christian University in july this year, Morlyn was admitted for a postgraduate Bar Course at the Law Development Centre and began her classes in September this year.

Through an interview with her, Moryn promised to be the medium through which students can pass to reach the administration to present their concerns as she tries to bridge the gap between the two parties.

The opponents that Magololo Moryn will face in the Guild presidential election remain unknown at the moment and attempts to reach her to a comment were futile.

LDC offers a postgraduate bar course, postgraduate diploma in legal practice, a mandatory course for all lawyers intending to practice law in Uganda. LDC is the only institution that offers such a course in Uganda. It has campuses in Kampala, mbarara and lira in northern Uganda
