Historic : Ddumba Timothy Wins UCU Hotly Contested Guild Elections As The New Guild President

Uganda Christian University (UCU) students voted Ddumba Timothy as their new 25th Guild President,2022/2023

Ddumba Timothy is a third year student studying a Bachelors course in Engineering from faculty of engineering and design who will take over the office from sserwadda Racheal who has been the incumbent Guild President (Out going Guild President)

According to the results announced today night by the electoral commission Mr Bob Tuhimbisibwe, Ddumba won with 1515 votes beating his rival jorem in the contest after him scooping 1325 votes

Ddumba will be sworn in as 25th UCU Guild President 2022/2023 next week to take the new office and officiate his work to serve for student’s interests.

After Ddumba declared as the winner, many students, classmates and his teammates congratulated him upon his victory
