LDCGuildPolls: Former Makerere Law Student To Contest For LDC-Mbarara Campus Guild Presidency Ahead Of Early Polls

Lubega Ashim has heightened his political ambitions by declaring his intention to contest in the Law Development Centre (LDC) Mbarara Campus Guild Presidential race scheduled for this month.
The former law scholar at Makerere University announced that he would compete for this highly rated political office through an interview he made yesterday morning with our reporter. He encouraged lawyers to vote for him so as to restore the reputation of LDC.
“Gallant lawyers, the time is now. Let us make the law indeed the law at LDC. The struggle continues,” Lubega stated it through campasstv interview with our journalist
The law advocate and human rights defender also received encouragement from Makerere students and some of his counterparts from LDC to go on and contest in this race. Most of them described Lubega Ashim as a leader and change factor who could transfer his transformational leadership he exhibited at Makerere to LDC.
Upon leaving Makerere in August this year , Lubega Ashim was admitted for a Bar course at the Law Development Centre and began his classes in October this year.
The opponents that Lubega Ashim will face in the Guild presidential election remain unknown at the moment and attempts to reach him to a comment were futile.
