Makerere Vice chancellor challenges staff to collect money for the Karamoja cry

Pr Robert showcased their achievements as vision bearers of the Karamoja. Pr kayanja also challenged the staff of Makerere to take part of this.
It should be noted that thousands have died of hunger in the Karamoja region.
commanded the staff to start collecting money for the Karamoja cry by Monday which he promised.

Karamoja cry is an initiative started by pr Robert kayanja of miracle center to save the people of Karamoja.
This hit the nerves of the vice chancellor who immediately grabbed the microphone and to follow up.

“In order to complete our two phase project, Karamoja Cry, we need your prayers and financial support. Feeding over a million people a day is not an easy task. Our first phase of the project began in late July. We have delivered 60 tons of a special protein nutrient rich blend consisting of a mixture of flours, milk, soy and calcium powders, natural sugars and vitamins. Mixed and warmed a serving of this blend is filling the hungry stomachs of over 6,000 children and adults daily.” Pr kayanja revealed.

Sending food to this region will only alleviate this problem for the short term and we must redeem the time. People are dying daily.

As we continue to feed more and more families, this is costly. Raising 10,000,000,000 UGX for the Karamoja Cry project will enable us to continue our feeding project and begin this next phase to equip the people with life saving tools.
