Adekunle Gold meets IUEA students ahead of his 2022 Concert live in Uganda

The International University of East Africa (IUEA) has today (July 15th) hosted Adekunle Gold, who is scheduled to perform live in Kampala this Saturday, July 16th at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Adekunle Gold arrived in Kampala earlier this morning. He later proceeded to IUEA for a press conference and a “meet and greet” with the IUEA students.
IUEA Vice Chancellor, and students, welcomed the famous Nigerian star with a warm heart and gratitude.

“We are very happy to host you here today, welcome to Uganda!” Prof. Emeka said.
IUEA is among the official sponsors of this year’s “futuristic” club dome event.
While addressing the press, Adekunle Gold called on the students to be resilient and believe in God if they want to succeed in life, not forgetting that “hardwork pays.” He went on to promise a massive show at Lugogo Cricket Oval tomorrow.
“Finally I’m here. Tomorrow is going to be a race. It’s going to be the best show you have ever seen.” He promised.
Additionally, Adekunle Gold urged Ugandans to support their artists since that is the only way that African music can advance.
“I encourage you all to keep supporting first your artistes and then African artistes. Support Fik Fameica and the rest because that is the only way we are going to conquer the world,” he said.
Before Adekunle Gold left, he was able to plant for the IUEA students a mango tree, which was immediately baptized by one of the students as, “AG Mango.”
Adekunle Gold will be performing for the very first time in Uganda, at the 2022 Club Dome alongside South Africa’s Costa Titch, who arrived in Uganda since yesterday.
Other top Ugandan artists set to share the stage with him include Sheebah Karungi, John Blaq, Vinka, Daddy Andre, Kataleya and Kandle, Dimitri, and Bella.
Tomorrow’s gates open at 12:00pm, until late. Tickets go for Shs.60,000 (ordinary), Shs.120,000 (VIP) and Shs.3,000,000 (a table of 8).
