WCW: Meet Nina Rose a Ugandan Model,song writer and asinger

Nina Kankunda popularly known as Nina Rose is a Ugandan Female model, song writer and a singer born in kibuli in Kampala suburb.

she was born in 1993 by Mr Matia Nsemeirwe Martin and Proscovia Tumukunde in Mbarara but was raised in Kampala by Lucy Mbabazi and Hajji Gitta Salongo.

She studied from St. Stevens Church of Uganda primary school and proceeded to Kakungulu Secondary School where she studied for her Ordinary level education and joined Trinity College Nabbingo for her Advanced level.

In s.6 vacation, Nina joined the model industry and because of her height of over 6ft which was unique, most of the modelling companies were attracted to use her in their projects.

She later joined International University of East Africa where she was pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
However his father become sick and he couldn’t pay tuition any more,this made Nina to drop out in second year and join the music in industry.

Jeff kiwa CEO TNS realized that Nina was such atalented diva which made him to  sign her in Ugandan record label known as Team No Sleep commonly abbreviated as TNS which has Sheebah Karungi, Roden Y and other members.

September 2016 Jeff Kiwa took her to producer Shidy Beats who produced her first song which was a collaboration between her and Roden Y Kabako. Jeff Kiwa added her some songs to record and this was the beginning of Nina’s fame and popularity.

Nina was signed in boom bark records in 2017 where she she linked up with Daddy Andre who produced her second club banger titled Omuliro which was an Afro-DanDancehall song.
In 2018, she released another single titled Olumya Banno which was produced by Nessim pan production and in 2019 she released Anayinama a dancehall song.

Nina rose left Boom bark records and joined the management of Sure Events where she has released two latest singles titled Ntinka nkutike and Ekyoyoyo and they were produced by Diggy Baur and Daddy Andre respectively.

She has won several awards like ;
1.Pafa Awards 2018- Best Female Fashionista
2.Hipipo Awards 2018- Must Watch Talent
3.Hipipo Awards 2019- Best breakthrough Artist.

It was also alledged that she was dating Bennie Gunter a Ugandan artist under amusic lebel called talent Africa before going into serious relationship with Daddy Andre which also never worked worked after her spotting that the producer was cheating on her.This was in ascreen shot of messages that went viral on social media.

Her songs includes, bill board ,kyoyoyo,Sikuta,Olumya Banno,twebuza,daily basis,sikuta etc which are also available on various music download websites.
