REVEALED! Makerere’s NRM flag bearer Hussein lbra Was Staunch NUP Member

Controversial news reaching our desk indicate that Hussein lbra, the current Makerere University National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer in the ongoing guild presidential race of Kyambogo University was a staunch National Unity platform (NUP) Makerere chapter member and delegate .

Our scoop bumped into a few Makerere University students and political enthusiasts wondering why a staunch NUP member and delegate decided to cross over to NRM and how he managed to emerge as a sole candidate in the party.
Sources inside the Makerere University NUP chapter have intimated to to our scoop that previous semester, Hussein lbra now the NRM flag bearer in the Makerere guild race. However we reached out to some Makerere NUP officials asking them about Hussein lbra quitting the party chapter

However Hussein lbra told us that he was no longer interested in the party saying he was simply influenced to join the party but it was against his will.It is at that point that the NUP Makerere chapter decided to revoke Hussein ’s membership and let him go.

We managed to reach out to the Muhwezi Macxzzon , the former Makerere University NRM party President and he told us he was not aware Hussein in NUP and all he knew is that Hussein lbra is a staunch NRM person.

“I was not aware of those allegations that Hussein lbra was an NUP member all I know he belongs to our party and that’s all that matters his history doesn’t matter,” he said.

Efforts to reach out to Hussein lbra to have a say about this whole controversy were futile .
