From a villager deep in Masaka to Kampala’s biggest celebrity;story of dj suuna Ben

Dj Suuna Ben whose real name is Suuna Ben Owebinyanya is a Ugandan Deejay, emcee and radio personality working on Bukedde fm one of Kampala’s biggest radio station.Dj Suuna Ben’s is a Muganda from masaka where he was born and raised by his mother after the death of the father when he was in p.3. He finished his Primary Education and joined High School where he later dropped out due to problems in School fees from his family.

In 2007 ,he started to develop his careers by hosting parties as the emcee as well as a DJ. Later on he became perfect and joined Radio as a co-host in 2009 where he gained popularity.
DJ Suuna Ben Said, “During my school time I wanted to be an Electrical Engineer but my dream was cut out due to shortage of finances at home because my parents never had money.”

Suuna Ben was later pushed by his parents to learn mechanical vehicle repairing in which he succeeded.

Karaoke and comedy were his side hustles that made him famous where he joined Radio Equator in Masaka before joining Buddu FMvand later on Bukkedde fm.

Currently he host at Bukedde Butya which airs on Bukedde FM on Weekly days from 6am to 10 am.

In April,he scooped a deal of where he performed on the Nigerian superstar and Guinness Pan African Black shines brightest influencer Fireboy which was on Saturday, April 30, at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
