Jinja models Foundation unveils Busoga run 2022

Jinja Models Foundation/Jinja models it’s aregistered youth led organisation aiming at using film, fashion and sports to empower,mentor and inspire fellow youths in the region.

It was launched in 2020 with their first campaign being, Cleaning up jinja City with jinja models” an event that witnessed anumber of local people and leaders across jinja.

The cleaning started in Mpumudde market,mufubira, bugembe,walukuba,Lubaga and finally concluded in Central market where they were joined by local leaders such as Lc 1 councillors, division mayors and MPs.

Currently, the foundation has also come up with anew project called “Busoga Run Marathon” under the theme “Empowering Boy child to create safer environment for the girl child.”

The Busoga Run Marathon aims at ending Child marriage,teenage pregnancy, school drop out,sex harrassement and creating awareness on Sexual reproductive Healthy and Rights.

The event is scheduled on 10th-july-2022 at Main Street primary school in Jinja.
