NUP’s Candidate Walugembe Arnold Elected Ndejje University Guild President

The National Unity Platform (NUP) candidate Walugembe Arnold has been elected Ndejje University Guild President.
Walugembe yesterday was in the lead according to the provisional results that were released by the Ndejje University Electoral Commission.
The University apparatus tried much to see Walugembe Arnold doesn’t go through but Ndejje students spoke one voice at the main campus

Despite yesterday’s ballot stuffing, this didn’t stop Walugembe’s supporters to speak one voice today, Walugembe Arnold won the highly contested election after he garnered the maximum number of votes casted by students at main campus

Walugembe Arnold who was the NUP flag bearer has won the just concluded guild elections at Ndejje University after beating his major opponent Nakutunda Sylvia at both Kampala and main campus.

The results were declared today by the chairman electoral commission after tallying all the votes from both campuses. According to EC, the number of students that turned up to vote their candidates was overwhelming compared to last year’s elections.

There was rigging of votes by one student at Kampala Campus who was caught red handed trying to sneak pre-ticked ballot papers into the ballot box.
