Charge anytime scam exposed

Published

on

An online business, Charge anytime came up claiming to aid Ugandans earn cash daily whilst the financial breakthrough from to the economic retardation brought about by the COVID 19 pandemic. This company initially operated successfully thus securing a number of clients this year.

How it operated.
The company was dealing in selling power banks online with the cheapest at Ugx shs. 20,000 which one had to purchase and rent out for 60 days as he earned money on a daily basis. Calculatingly, this seemed a legit deal because from their offers, one could secure his principal in two weeks making it a mega deal. Those who initially benefited from the business had to spread the gospel to recruit more clients and by so doing they got a rebate and commission for the work done.
The business became more popular on 29th March, 2022 and from that time till 27th April 2022 it had registered over 10,000 new clients and money over Ugx shs. 1 billion from their devices.

Why it closed its operations.
Through the WhatsApp message sent to some of the clients, the company claims to have received a surprise suspension of their services from the country by the Government of Uganda, after being summoned by the Ministry of Finance to appear forth on matters concerning their operations. It has then promised its clients that it will be resuming its operations soon after solving this issue with the Government of Uganda and has encouraged the clients not to consider any other information from the general public as true; and many seem to have accepted this.
However, from our research where one of us got actively engaged to carryout first hand research about the business, we believe this business, charge anytime will not appear again coz its likely to have succeeded with its mission of scamming Ugandans.

Why we think Charge anytime was a scam.

First and foremost , we were battled by the company use of two names during its operations. Online, its called Charge anytime but as you make a transaction with them through MTN or Airtel Uganda, it is actually Banny Solutions – SMC Ltd. For this matter, it is difficult to sue the company to court coz you won’t be certain of who the scammer was.

Secondly , the company domain www.chargeanytime.net was actually registered in 2022 but the company in its descriptions claimed to have started in 2019 and these two don’t tally at all.

Thirdly , the company claims to be having its headquarters is Uganda but the clear place is not known to any Ugandan which makes us believe its virtual.

Fourthly, the customer care line +601 belongs to North America but this company claimed to be of Ugandan origin.

Conclusively , we appeal to those that still have all their hope in online business of this kind , particularly charge anytime, to take caution lest they be scammed all their wealth. This 21st century, it is smartness that has turned the best way of making money.
We sympathise with those that have lost their money to charge anytime.
