BSU: Bahangana Emmanuel declared guild president

Behangana Emmanuel second-year student pursuing a Bachelors degree in Information Technology won a highly contested guild presidential yesterday 18/11/2021 at bishop Stuart Universty in mabarara (BSU)after he gathered majority of the valid votes 722, followed by Alex Mugabe with 650 votes and then Twijukye Colleb with 301 votes.

One of the candidates Twijukye Colleb during the election process kicked the ballot bucket at one of the polling stations and ballot papers spread on the ground saying that the process was not fair because he was being cheated. This prompted Uganda Police force to arrest him and fired rubber bullets in the air.
According to the sources of information we got,one of the voters was believed to be Alex Mugabe’s agent was arrested on allegations of having a pre ticked ballot paper in his pockets.
According to some students,they have abelief that Emma will establish strong relationship between the students guild and the Universty administration so that some of their needs as students are solved.
