Government sets charges for entebbe express high way

The ministry of transport and works led by Gen katumba wamala revealed that government is set to start charging fees for the use of the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway in July 2022.

While making a presentation of the ministry achievements in the last five years,Gen Edward Katumba Wamala said that the payments will come into effect in July as soon the ministry finalises gazetting it and rationalising its rates.

Upon the completionof entebbe high way in 2018 by the Chinese, the four-lane toll highway stretches 36.94km, with a link road of 12.68km.The Government has severally postponed charging users a certain amount of money.
