Mubs set dates for online exams

In a letter dated September 13, 2021, MUBs deputy principal Prof. Moses Muhwezi mentioned that the exams for the academic year 2020/21 will be held between Monday, September 27 to Friday, October 08, 2021 and will be in form of alternative online assessments though students were not able to complete their curriculum.
“As you are aware, examinations for end of semester one the academic year 2020/21 were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Makerere University Senate meeting held on August 9, 2021, and MUBS Management have since approved alternative online assessment methods for both course work and final examinations,” Prof. Muhwezi said.
MUBs now join their counterparts at Makerere University as some of the fee higher institutions of learning that have so far re-opened online to complete a semester that was halted prematurely.
Prof. Muhwezi added that students will be trained on how to use the MUBS e-learning platform which will be used in the online assessment, starting Wednesday this week.
Education Minister Janet Museveni in letter in monday stated that the closure of the schools is intended to protect the country’s population and not to punish learners an d dhe urged learners above 18 and teachers to get vaccinated as they continue to wait on God, who will ‘not fail’ the country’s education system.
Its now on the foresight that universities like makerere,Mbarara,Mubs among others have adopted online studies and exams since clear dates for physical studies is not yet revealed.
