620 students graduated today at cavendish university

Over 620 students have today graduated at speke resorts Muyonyo where the university held its 10th graduation ceremony. The event was held online due to the pandemic covid 19 with only invitation of few students who performed very well.
The university V.chancellor prof john F Mugisha congratulated all the students for such an achievement.He also revealed that the purpose of holding a virtual graduation is to enable well deserved graduands to graduate, get jobs and contribute to the needs of the society and he futher revealed that the graduates have to think and act faster than the generation that came before them .
The chancellor HE.Goodluck Ebele thanked the university council for choosing him to walk in the footsteps of some great African leaders like kenneth kaunda and Benjamin Mukapa. He also added that being choosen the Chancellor of Cavendish University is a new thing to him, but he is glad that he had to keep the legacy of my predecessor Kenneth Kaunda living on.
The president of Republic of Uganda was expected to be the official guest of the 10th graduation ceremony, however he was represented by John Chrysestom Muyingo the the minister for higher education.
