Buganda to unveil new katikiro (prime minister ) on 19th-april-2021

After just fews days from the kabakas birthday, His Highness Ronald Muwenda Mutebi who celebrated his 66th birthday at the Mengo palace. The occasion was graced by a few dignitaries, including the Vice President, Mr Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi, the State Minister for Higher Education, Mr John Chrysestom Muyingo, Deputy Supreme Muft i Muhamood Kibaate, and Mengo ministers, among others.

Yesterday the letter came out thanking the prime minister of buganda for great work he has done for buganda. It also started that there have been changes in the office of the kitikiro(prime minister ).its remembererd that Peter charles Mayiga of the Mutima clan who served For seven years , was appointed to that position by the current monarch, the Kabaka of Buganda, Muwenda Mutebi II of Buganda in May 2013, replacing engineer John Baptist Walusimbi.

The letter therefor calls the baganda at large on 19-april-2021 to come and witness as the kingdom unveils anew katikiro.
