kyambogo university :Mbazira john senior wins the 17th guild elections

Material at various polling stations at kyambogo university arrived as early as 7am and polling started at around 8:30am and a number of candidates we’re on the ballot papers and these included

Mugisha Trust Nduwayo of FDC Tayebwa Jonathan of NRM, Kigaye Collin (Independent), Ssubi Julius Ceaser (Independent), Onai Emmanuel Peter, Mugeni Sharifu (Independent) and Markmort Daniel who later joined Mbaziira John sr.

Mbaziira john senior whose photo was missing on the ballot paper polled 4,372 where’s his close rival, Mugisha came second with 3,638 while NRM’s Tayebwa Jonathan came third with 750 votes out of the 9,069 valid votes that were cast on Thursday 11th March.

Anumber of incidences happened where people power students we’re arrested including the president himself but later on released.
