Makerere university reopens for all students
Uganda closed all academic institutions last year in March after a COVID-19 outbreak started in the country, candidate and finalist resumed their classes in October.
According to the presidential adress on Thursday 4th, Universities and other tertiary education institutes were allowed to reopen next month in a staggered manner.
In the letter drafted by the Vice Chancellor, enrollment, registration and teaching of freshers Will start on 1st March 2021.
Teaching and learning of continueing students and finalists will start online on Monday 8th.
