Nigerian’s famous artists and BET award winner has received award nominations from different award nominations including the prestigious Grammy. He was first nominated at the Dutch Edison Awards for the “Best World Album” category. He becomes the first-ever Nigerian to be nominated for the award.

The singer was nominated in the Best Global Music Album category for his latest body of work, ‘Twice As Tall’. He was nominated alongside American, Brooklyn-based afrobeat band Antibalas; a group of Tuareg musicians, Tinariwen; British-Indian composer, Anoushka Shankar and Brazilian-American singer, Bebel Gilbert.
