“Re-opening might be phased beginning with finalist” prof katunguka said

In his letter dated 7th-septmber 2020,addressed to all kyambogo university staff, the university Vice chancellor prof Eli katunguka highlighted on the number of issus ranging from the increasing number of covid-19 cases, end of the 4th kyambogo council, the new university structure camera as an update on the status of the university during this lockdown period.

We however singled out the point where the vice chancellor addressed the issue of re-openneing of the institution of learning. As classification on Sunday article on the re-openneing of schools on 20th-september 2020,prof katunguka said that he is in talk with the ministry of education and sports over the same issue since its one of the resolutions by the covid national task force. Prof katunguka in his letter cities out the president having okayed final year students of the health related courses to complete thier academic eengagement so as to provide on an extra force during the flight against covid 19. He however didn’t rule out the fact of re-openning stating that it might be phased and beginning with the final year students and called upon all the stuff members to be ready in case school is opened. Another point of note was the university structure as well as review of the certain courses offered at the university which implies we might see some scrapped off and some new introduced.

    All its just to mess up with the students and the public at large.All Ugandans are asking why National resistance movement are holding campaigns en their campaigns hold a large number of people who don’t even follow the guidelines for preventing covid 19 so my conclusion goes let them open d institution en students resume their studies we no longer want excuses
