The regulator of the students loan scheme Higher Education Students Financing Board (HESFB) has for the 2nd time extended the deadline for 2020/2021 Loan scheme applicants. This comes after some institutions not releasing the 2020/2021 private admissions yet they are credited by HESFB. So this is done to cater for the students who we’re left with such reasons. The Joint Admission Board (JAB) has also not concluded the national selection exercise for students to different Business Technical Vocation training institutes(BTVET).
The deadline has been extended By HESFB up to 30th-september-2020 and 15th-october-2020 for the under graduate degree and diploma applicants. For applicants who are already admitted at their desired institution and yet to receive admission letter, they are requested to attach the photocopy of the admission list that shows the applicants name and it will act as asubsitute for the admission letter and fees structure.
Applicants are reminded to pay anon refunded fun of UGX 53’000 for processing the loan in centenary bank.
