Over 2000 kampala international university students graduates virtually

atotal of 2,253 students have graduated with various qualifications during the 22nd kampala international university graduation ceremony virtually. The ceremony was graced by the university chancellor prof. Mahmood Mamdani who was installed recently. The university management resolved to hold scientifically following the closure of all universities in march 2020 in abid to contain covid 19.

The vice chancellor Dr Mauhammad Mpezamihingo while giving his remarks, he disclosed that 38%(871) of graduates are female while 62%(1,382) are male. According to the Vice chancellor, 43%(976) of the graduands graduated with science based awards, 167 post graduates including 4 PHDs and 27 bachelors holders with first class degree while 57%(1,277) are arts, humanities, business and law graduates. Dr Mpezamihingo advised the graduands to be good ambassadors of the university by sharing their experience and benefits from the university to the world.
