Entebbe zoo re-opens after five month of lockdown.

The uganda wildlife conservation center (UWEC) known commonly as entebbe zoo has re-openned after five months of lockdown. The re-openneing came a day after the tourism minister Tom Butime and the Executive officer of Uganda tourism board Lilly Ajarova toured the center to confirm the preparedness so as to resume the operations. The re-openneing was announced on Saturday, 8,August, 2020.Dr James Musinguzi the UWEC Executive Director revealed that not more than 300 people will be allowed inside the animal center. He says , “limiting the number of visitors is among the standard operating procedures developed by UWEC directors and board members as away to contain the spray of covid 19 both on humans and animals. Col Tom Butime the minister for tourism, thanked the management of entebbe zooo for having worked hard to survive the ripple effects of covid 19.
